Every week, I release a handwoven piece of art on a ‘pay-what-you-wish’ basis via Instagram. Participants are invited to make an offer by sharing the price that they wish to pay, and (optionally) why the piece spoke to them. There is no floor nor ceiling for an offer I will accept.
Questions participants are invited to consider when choosing an offered price:
What would it look like to view this exchange through the lens of shared respect and generosity?
What would it look like to think about “buying” and “selling” as a relational and mutually beneficial act?
What goes into making something - or anything - possible?
